According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Sooners are now 3.5-point home favorites versus the Jayhawks after opening as a 5-point fave. As for the total, it opened at 156 and that’s where the number currently sits.

Kansas enters play with a 20-4 record and has been profitable at the betting window, going 14-8 against the spread. Oklahoma is 20-3 overall but hasn’t had the success against the spread, covering in just 10 of its 21 lined games this season.

Who covers?

Oklahoma. With their 109-106 triple-overtime victory against the Sooners in January still fresh on basketball fans’ minds, bettors snatched Kansas at +5 and drove the line down to 3.5 at most sports books. But the Jayhawks are just 2-3 on the road in Big 12 play this season and those two wins came against Texas Tech and TCU, two teams that aren’t exactly conference powerhouses.

Plus, in that triple-OT thriller, Kansas guard Wayne Selden racked up 21 points and was a Player of the Year candidate. But Selden is averaging just 9.9 points in his last 10 games and while his star has lost its shine, Buddy Hield continues to play like one of the best, if not the best, players in the country. Lay the points with the home squad.
