USC vs. Arizona Pick
Will No. 13 Arizona have any trouble at home when the Wildcats play host to USC tonight at 10:15PM ET?
According to oddsmakers at YouWager, Arizona is the favorite at home, as the Wildcats are getting odds of -5.5 points against USC. The over/under total for the game is listed at 155 points. Tonight’s game will take place from the McKale Center in Tucson, Arizona and air live on ESPN.
USC has lost its last two, on the road against UCLA and Arizona State. The Trojans are 17-8 overall, 8-4 in the Pac-12 and 16-9 against the spread. USC is averaging 79.7 points per game on offense while allowing just 71.8 per contest. Chimezie Metu is leading the Trojans with 15.7 points and 7.4 rebounds per game while Bennie Boatwright is adding 14.6 points and 6.5 rebounds per contest.
Arizona is also on a two-game losing streak. The Wildcats lost at Washington last weekend and then lost 84-72 at home to UCLA on Thursday night. Arizona is now 19-6 overall, 9-3 in the Pac-12 and 8-15-2 against the spread. The Wildcats are putting up 81.9 points per game on offense while allowing 72.2 per contest. Allonzo Trier has been leading Arizona with 19.8 points per game while Deandre Ayton is adding 19.5 points and 10.8 rebounds per contest.
Arizona has won the last three meetings with USC, but the two are meeting for the first time this season. The Wildcats have a record to be happy about, but they aren’t covering at the betting window. They are just 1-5 ATS in their last six and 2-8 ATS in their last 10. They are 0-6-1 ATS in their last seven at home. USC has covered in three of its last four on the road and I think the Trojans will be ready to give Arizona a fight tonight. The public betting is backing Arizona at home, but I will take the points with USC.
