Virginia vs. Cal Prediction
The Cal Golden Bears are a small home underdog tonight against Virginia. Are they a good bet to cover at 10:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Golden Bears are 3-point home underdogs versus the Cavaliers after opening as a 5-point dog. As for the total, the number hit the board at 118.5 and that’s where it currently sits at the majority of online and Vegas sports books.

OUR PREDICTION: I like the home dog in this spot. The Golden Bears are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games coming off a win of more than 20 points, are 4-1 against the number in their last five home games versus a team with a winning road record, and are 8-3 against the number in their last 11 games coming off a successful cover. Virginia’s stout defense will provide a massive challenge but Cal is 24-2 in non-conference home games under Cuonzo Martin. Plus, with the combination of Bird and Rabb, the Golden Bears will provide a nice challenge for the Cavalier defense as well.
