After holding on to beat Oregon State on Wednesday, will Cal meet its match today against Utah when the two teams square off at 5:30PM ET?

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Utes are 2.5-point favorites to beat the Golden Bears while the over/under currently sits at 131 points.

Cal got a game from Oregon State in the first round on Wednesday but held on to beat the Beavers 67-62 despite coming nowhere close to covering as a 14-point favorite. The Golden Bears are now 5-5 over their last five games both on the hardwood and at the betting window.

Utah received a first-round bye for the first-round of the Pac-12 tournament after finishing the regular season with a 20-10 record. Entering play today, the Utes have won six of their last 10 games but are just 4-5-1 against the spread during that same stretch. They did finish 14-12 ATS on the season, however.

OUR PREDICTION: Cal failed to cover the spread against Utah in the last four meetings between these two teams and the favorite is 4-1 against the spread in the last five meetings. The Golden Bears are also just 3-12-1 against the spread in their last 16 neutral site games while the Utes are 8-2-1 against the number in their last 11 games when taking on an opponent with a winning record.
