Tulsa has 19 starters back from a team that lost just three games, including two by a combined five points. The Golden Hurricanes averaged 41.4 points and 506 yards of offense in 2010 thanks to the play of quarterback GJ Kinne, who threw for 3,650 yards and 31 scores. Kinne is back for Tulsa this season. On defense, Tulsa struggled, allowing 30.3 points and 451 yards per game, including 319 passing yards per contest.
In terms of Injuries, Oklahoma defensive end Ronnell Lewis may miss the game due to academic issues while Tulsa receiver Damaris Johnson is out indefinitely after being suspended by the team.
