2015 College Football Week 4 Texas A&M vs. Arkansas Picks & Predictions

Texas A&M vs. Arkansas Free Pick

Things are likely to get much worse for Brett Bielema and Arkansas before they get better. After getting embarrassed the past two weeks, the Razorbacks host Texas A&M at 7:00PM ET tonight.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag, the Razorbacks are 7-point home underdogs versus the Aggies, while the over/under currently sits at 58 points.

A week after losing 16-12 to Toledo, Arkansas was out-paced 35-24 by Texas Tech last Saturday. Following the game, Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury said:

“(Bielema) stood up and said if you don’t throw to the fullback, we’ll kick your (butt), and if you throw it 70 times a game, we’ll kick your (butt),”Kingsburytold reporters. “(Bielema) just got his (butt) kicked twice in a row and probably next week by (Texas) A&M as well.”

Kingsbury was referencing comments made by Bielema regarding the spread offense this summer while speaking to a group of coaches at the Texas High School Coaching seminar.

After scoring just three second-half points against Texas Tech, Arkansas will have plenty of issues trying to move the ball versus John Chavis’ defense tonight. The Razorbacks also ranked 10th nationally in total defense last season but allowed 486 yards to Tech.

The Razorbacks are likely to have issues slowing Kyle Allen and Kevin Sumlin’s offense today. Honestly, the point spread is a tad inflated but Sumlin isn’t going to have any mercy on Bielema either. Look for A&M to eventually pull away in the second half.
