According to oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag, the Bruins are 13.5-point home favorites versus the Sun Devils while the over/under currently sits at 60 points for tonight’s game.
Arizona State is coming off a loss in which it gave up 42 points to USC defensively while UCLA rang up 56 points offensively in a win over Arizona. But while the over feels like the play tonight, the Sun Devils have been dysfunctional on offense since Bo Graham resigned two weeks before the season opener. Graham was offensive coordinator Mike Norvell’s eyes in the press box but with him gone, ASU has struggled to gain a rhythm offensively. There’s also concerns over whether Norvell is doing enough to play to quarterback Mike Bercovici’s strengths.
Granted, UCLA is decimated at linebacker so perhaps this is the week that Norvell’s offense gets rolling. Then again, ASU attempted to slow down the tempo of the game last week and could attempt to use that strategy again tonight. The under is 4-0 in the Sun Devils’ last four games overall and 6-1-1 in the Bruins’ last eight home games.
