Clemson vs. Louisville Odds
The college football weekend gets started tonight when Louisville hosts No. 11 Clemson in ACC action at 7:30PM ET on ESPN.
According to oddsmakers at MyBookie, Clemson is the favorite to win this game, as the Tigers are getting odds of -6.5 points against the Cardinals. The over/under total for the game has been set at 51 points. These two met last season with Clemson getting a 23-17 win at home, but Louisville covering an 8.5-point spread.
Clemson is 2-0 on the season, 2-0 against the spread and 1-1 with the over/under total. The Tigers opened the season with a 49-10 win over Wofford and then following that up with a 41-10 win over Appalachian State. Clemson is holding opponents to 255.5 yards per game this season while posting 462.5 yards per game on offense. Quarterback Deshaun Watson has thrown for 442 yards and five touchdowns thus far while Wayne Gallman has rushed for 171 yards and three scores.
Louisville is 0-2 on the season, 1-1 against the spread and 1-0-1 with the over. The Cardinals started the year with a 31-24 loss to Auburn and then suffered a 34-31 loss at home to Houston. Louisville is posting 400 yards per game thus far, but the Cardinals are allowing nearly 400 yards per game as well. Louisville has yet to name a QB for this game as Lamar Jackson has thrown for 268 yards, but has three interceptions. Kyle Bolin has saw some time and thrown for 157 yards with one touchdown. Jackson is currently the leading rusher on the team with 122 yards and two touchdowns.
