Michigan vs. Ohio State Pick
Arguably the biggest and best rivalry in college football will be renewed on Saturday when No. 8 Ohio State hosts Michigan at 12:00PM ET on ABC.
According to latest college football odds, oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com have made Ohio State a 17-point favorite over Michigan in Week 13. The over/under total for this game is currently 63 points, so obviously oddsmakers are expecting a high-scoring affair at the Horseshoe.
The Wolverines enter Saturdays game with a 7-4 record but they’re just 3-8 against the spread according to latest college football trends. They’re 3-1 on the road this year but have failed to cover in three of those four games away from the Big House.
The Buckeyes are a near-flawless 10-1 on the year and are 8-2-1 against the spread this season. They’re a perfect 7-0 at home this year and have covered in all seven of their games in Columbus.
College Football Week 13 Free Pick:
It’s tempting to take the points and pick Michigan in a rivalry game, but this one will be a laugher at some point. The Wolverines simply don’t matchup well with the Buckeyes, just as they didn’t last week against Wisconsin. Michigan is built on speed and fellow Big Ten opponents like Wisconsin and Ohio State are all about power. Denard Robinson will have a tough time getting the Wolverines’ offense rolling against a stout Ohio State front even, while Terrelle Pryor should have no problems marching up and down the field against a suspect Michigan defense. The favorite is 4-1 against the spread in the last five meetings between these two teams, while the Wolverines are just 1-5 ATS in their last six against the Buckeyes. Our pick is Ohio State minus the points.
