According to college football odds, oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com have made Ohio State a 3-point favorite over Iowa in Week 12. The over/under total for this game is currently 48.5 points.
The Buckeyes are 9-1 straight up this season and have covered in eight of their first 10 games according to recent college football trends. They’re 2-1 away from Columbus this year, although they’ve only covered once in their three road games.
The Hawkeyes are 7-3 straight up, but have only covered in five of their fist 10 games. That said, they’re 5-1 at Kinnick Stadium this season and have covered in four of their first six games.
Our Week 12 Free Pick:
Terrelle Pryor and the Buckeyes have not faired well on the road this year in terms of covering the spread, but they’re 7-2 against the number in their last nine games against Iowa and the favorite is 8-1 ATS in the last nine meetings between these two teams. While they would love to ruin the Buckeyes’ season, there’s bound to be a natural letdown for the Hawkeyes after losing to Northwestern last Saturday. Ricky Stanzi and Iowa is 1-4 against the number in its last five games in November and we think it’ll be 1-5 by early Saturday evening. Our pick is Ohio State minus the points.
