Western Michigan is trying to stay in the mix for the MAC title on Tuesday night. The Broncos are coming off a 49-10 win over Bowling Green on Oct. 26 to improve to 5-4 on the season and 3-2 in the MAC. They are ½ a game behind Ball State in the West. The Broncos are 5-4 against the spread and 6-2-1 with the under this year.

College Football Betting Trends
Western Michigan
Western Michigan has covered the spread in six straight home games, but are 0-6 ATS in their last six after a win.
Ball State
The Cardinals have covered the spread in four straight against winning teams, but are just 10-21 ATS in their last 31 conference games.
Prediction:
Ball State won last year’s meeting at home in OT, but Western Michigan has won and covered the spread in four straight meetings prior to that. On paper, Ball State looks to be the better team. However, home games mean a lot in the MAC. Teams struggle to go on the road and win consistently. Western has covered the spread in six straight at home as well, so I like the Broncos to ride that wave of momentum and pick up a key win and cover tonight.
