According to oddsmakers at RealBets, Georgia is favored in today’s bowl game, as the Bulldogs are getting odds of -6 points against Penn State. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 42.5 points. These two meet today at Noon ET on ESPN. The game will be played from EverBank Field in Jacksonville, FL.

Michel is a 5-11 sophomore that has run for 1,076 yards and seven touchdowns this season for Georgia (9-3, 5-7 ATS). He also has caught 25 passes for 270 yards with three touchdowns. The Bulldogs have had to rely on Michel and the run game due to struggling in the air. Georgia ranks just 102nd nationally in passing at 187.1 yards per game.

Today Georgia meets up with Penn State (7-5, 4-8 ATS), which prides itself on being a physical football team, but the Nittany Lions still give up close to 150 yards per game on the ground. Also, considering Michigan State and Iowa both struggled against their bowl opponents while priding themselves on the same physicality, Georgia could have a good day on the ground. Oddsmakers have listed Michel with an over/under of 130.5 rushing yards for today’s game. He has run for at least 132 yards in three of his last for games and has hit the total four times on the season. He has also been given 22 carries or more in six of his last seven outings.
