With over five months before kickoff of the new season, is Alabama still favored to win it all in 2018?

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, yes, the Crimson Tide remain favored to win next year’s national championship at 9/2 odds. The team with the next-best odds to win is Ohio State at 13/2, while USC is 15/2, Florida State is 17/2, and Oklahoma rounds out the top 5 at 10/1.

Continuing with the current odds, Michigan is 15/1 to win next year’s national championship while Penn State is 18/1. Clemson, LSU and Louisville are all 20/1, respectively, while Auburn and Texas are 25/1, respectively. Georgia is 28/1 and after being bounced out of the semi-finals a year ago versus Alabama, Washington is 35/1 to win it all in 2018.

Some of the mid-range long-shots include Notre Dame at 45/1, as well as Florida, Oklahoma State and Virginia Tech at 50/1, respectively. Both Tennessee and UCLA are 60/1, respectively, while Kansas State and West Virginia are 65/1, respectively.
