Bet on North Texas vs. Florida
Florida has topped UMass 24-7 and Kentucky 45-7 to start the season. The Gators have split the total over the two games but have hit the over in three of their last four. Florida has maintained its stellar defense from last year, allowing just 168 yards per game thus far. The offense has shown improvement from a year ago though, averaging 463.5 yards per game. Luke Del Rio has thrown for 576 yards and six touchdowns to give the Gator fans some hope that the offense can step up this year.
North Texas is coming off a 41-20 win over Bethune Cookman last week. The Mean Green suffered a 34-21 loss to SMU in the opener. They have hit the under in six of their last eight games overall. While North Texas is putting up 422 yards per game right now, the Mean Green are giving up 401.5 yards per contest. Jeffrey Wilson is leading the offense with 169 rushing yards and three touchdowns.

North Texas isn’t likely to keep up its offensive numbers this weekend. Florida is one of the best defenses in the country and the Gators have been for some time. A shutout definitely wouldn’t be surprising. With that said. Florida’s offense has shown improvement, but I can’t trust them to score 45 points or more again, which I think they may have to for the over to hit. Look for the under to be the play in this game.
