Kansas vs. TCU Prediction
Will TCU cover the massive number tonight against Kansas or will the Jayhawks continue their impressive ATS streak versus the Horned Frogs?
ODDSMAKERS LIKE: TCU. According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Horned Frogs are now 39-point home favorites to beat the Jayhawks, who opened as 37-point underdogs. The total, meanwhile, hit the board at 64.5 but has been bet down to 61 at the majority of online sportsbooks.

THE PUBLIC LIKES: TCU. Public bettors are not being scared off by the large number. As of this writing, 67% of tickets for this matchup have been placed on TCU minus the 39 points.
HISTORICAL TRENDS LIKE: Kansas. The Jayhawks are a surprising 5-0 against the spread in the last five meetings between these two teams while the underdog is a perfect 6-0 against the spread in the last six games played between Kansas and TCU. The Horned Frogs are also 0-11 against the spread in their last 11 home games, are 1-10 against the number in their last 11 games played on grass, and have failed to cover in 13 of their last 19 games played overall.
WHO WE LIKE: Kansas. Well, we don’t like Kansas. The Jayhawks will struggle to score and they’ll make us sweat it out until the bitter end. But this is a massive letdown game for a TCU team that played Oklahoma State, West Virginia and at Kansas State the last three weeks. For some reason, Kansas has hung with TCU in recent meetings and I could see the Horned Frogs sleep-walking through this one tonight (especially with a road trip to Ames coming up next week). TCU has been on the radar nationally ever since they upset OK State in Stillwater and for that, I think this line is inflated (even against Kansas). I expect the Horned Frogs to jump out to a comfortable lead and then put it into cruise control in the second half, giving Kansas its sixth consecutive ATS win in this series.
