Oregon is 0-7-1 against the spread in its last eight games overall and is winless at 0-4 at the betting window in its last four conference games. The Ducks have also failed to cover in five of their last seven games played on Friday night but are 22-6-1 against the spread in their last 29 road games despite all of their issues defensively.
Cal, meanwhile, is just 1-4 against the spread in its last five conference games and has failed to cover in 20 of its last 29 home games. The Bears are also winless at 0-6 against the number in their last six games after allowing more than 450 total yards in their previous game and are 8-23 ATS in their last 31 games coming off a loss.

OUR PREDICTION: The Ducks have owned this series, covering in all five of their last five games against the Bears and are 15-5 against the spread in their last 20 games coming off a bye. Oregon is horrid defensively and will once again start freshman quarterback Justin Herbert, but the Ducks are averaging 257.8 rushing yards per game. Look for a heavy dose of Royce Freeman, Tony Brooks-James and Jarret LaCoste tonight against a Cal team that has been highly inconsistent this season.
