California vs. UCLA Odds
The Pac-12 takes center stage tonight when UCLA hosts No. 20 California at 9PM ET on ESPN.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, UCLA is the slight favorite at home, as the Bruins are getting odds of -3.5 points against the Golden Bears. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 68 points. UCLA has won three of its last four against Cal, but the Bears are 5-2 against the spread in the last seven games of this series. These two have hit the under in four of their last five meetings.
UCLA is 4-2 on the season, 1-2 in the Pac-12, 2-3-1 against the spread and 4-2 with the under. After a 4-0 start, UCLA has lost to Arizona State and Stanford in their last two games, both by double digits. The Bruins are averaging 34.8 points and 462.7 yards per game on offense, while the defense is giving up 27.7 points and 391.8 yards per game. The offense is led by Paul Perkins, who has rushed for 681 yards and eight touchdowns this season. Josh Rosen has thrown for 1,569 yards and 12 touchdowns, but also has seven interceptions.
California is 5-1 on the year, 2-1 in the Pac-12, 4-2 against the spread and 4-2 with the under. The Bears are coming off a 30-24 loss to Utah on the road, their first loss of the season. Cal still has one of the top offenses in the country, rankings 12th in points (40.2 per game) and in yards (517.7 per game). The defense is allowing 24.5 points and 394.8 yards per game this season. Jared Goff is garnering a lot of NFL attention, as he has thrown for 1,970 yards and 17 touchdowns, but he also has nine interceptions. Kenny Lawler is his top receiver, as he has 34 catches for 465 yards and eight touchdowns.
