Florida reinstates Robinson
The Florida Gators will welcome back one of their top skill players as Demarcus Robinson is no longer suspended heading into the SEC Championship.
Florida coach Jim McElwain said after Wednesday’s practice that Robinson had been reinstated following a suspension for last week’s loss to Florida State. Robinson has been suspended four times while at Florida, but McElwain said it was a “family decision” to reinstate Robinson for Saturday’s game.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Florida comes into Saturday’s SEC Championship as a clear underdog, as the Gators are getting odds of -17.5 points against Alabama. The over/under total for this game has been set at just 40 points.
Robinson has 47 receptions for 505 yards and two touchdowns this season. He ranks second on the team in receiving yards and first in total receptions. The 6-1 junior has had six games with at least five receptions.
