NIU vs. Toledo Odds
Two of the top teams in the MAC meet up tonight as No. 20 Toledo plays host to Northern Illinois at 8PM ET on ESPN2.
According to oddsmakers at MyBookie, Toledo is favored to win tonight, as the Rockets are getting odds of -7 points against Northern Illinois tonight. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 59.5 points. Northern Illinois has won five straight meetings with Toledo and the road team has covered the spread in four straight meetings. These two have hit the under in three straight meetings.
Toledo is 7-0 on the season, 4-0 in the Mid-American Conference, 6-0-1 against the spread and 5-2 with the under. The Rockets are coming off a 51-35 win over UMass on Oct. 24. The Rockets have also covered the spread in five straight games. Toledo is averaging 37 points and 471 yards per game on offense while the defense is holding opponents to 16.3 points and 367.1 yards per contest. Phillip Ely has thrown for 1,734 yards and 15 touchdowns to lead the offense while Terry Swanson has run for 590 yards and five scores. Joel Bouagnon has run for 863 yards and 14 touchdowns to lead the offense while Drew Hare has thrown for 1,817 yards and 13 touchdowns and Kenny Golladay has caught 46 passes for 673 yards and four scores.
