Oregon rolling, Oregon St. not
No. 18 Oregon looks like the team everyone expected it to be as of late. Are the Ducks sent to pounce over their rival, Oregon State, today?
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Oregon is the overwhelming favorite in this Civil War rivalry, as the Ducks are getting odds of -33.5 points against the Beavers today. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 69.5 points. These two meet up tonight at 4PM ET on FOX Sports 1.
Oregon isn’t going to be playing for a conference or playoff title this season, but the Ducks are as hot as anyone in the country, winning their last five since Vernon Adams Jr. returned from injury. Oregon is now 8-3 on the season, 6-2 in the P12 and 7-4 against the spread. Adams has thrown for 2,080 yards and 22 touchdowns while rushing for 123 yards. In this five-game win streak, Adams has had three games over 300 yards passing and has a total of 18 touchdown passes. Royce Freeman has also been a big help in the offense, as he has 1,539 rushing yards with 12 touchdowns.
Oregon State has had a season to forget under new coach Gary Anderson. The Beavers are just 2-9 on the season, 0-8 in the P12 and 2-9 against the spread. Today’s matchup isn’t looking much better, either, as Oregon State is 107th nationally in points allowed (35.6 per game) and 115th in yards allowed (464 per game). Oregon has a seven-game win streak in this rivalry and it’s hard to see that changing today.
