OUR PREDICTION: Oklahoma will once again be without running back Samaje Perine, who injured his hamstring in last week’s win over Kansas State. Perine has 43 career rushing touchdowns, which is the most among Power 5 running backs in the last three seasons. That said, Joe Mixon is more than capable of carrying the load for the Sooners and is 6.0 yards per carry average ranks fourth in the Big 12. This game is personal for Baker Mayfield, who is making his first start at Texas Tech since transferring from the school. Look for him to light up Tech’s horrendous defense and for OU to keep the Red Raiders in check after WVU held Kliff Kingsbury’s offense to just 17 points a week ago.
