According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Huskies are 7.5-point favorites versus the Buffaloes after opening as a 6-point favorite earlier in the week. As for the total, the number hit the board at 59.5 but has been bet down to 58.

Colorado hasn’t lost since USC edged the Buffaloes out 21-17 in Southern Cal on October 8. Otherwise, Colorado has been perfect over its last six games and covered the spread in four of those six contests. The Buffaloes enter play on Friday night with a 10-2 record and are 10-2 against the spread. The under also cashed in seven of the 12 games Colorado played this season.
USC also handed Washington its only loss of the season, which came in Seattle on November 12. Other than that, the Huskies went 11-1 on the season, 8-1 in conference, but just 6-6 against the spread. The over also cashed in eight of their 11 games on the season, although the under hit in two of their last three games and their matchup with Washington State pushed.

OUR PREDICTION: The under is 6-2 in the Buffaloes’ last eight games, are 5-2 in their last seven games coming off a win and are 6-1 in their last seven neutral site games. The Huskies rank 17th in total yards allowed, 33rd in passing yards allowed, 23rd in rushing yards allowed, and 11th in points allowed in the nation. Colorado has outstanding defensive numbers as well, ranking 12th in the country in total yards surrendered, 20th in passing yards, 33rd in run defense and 13th in points allowed. Both teams could get into the 20s, but the total is set way too high for a matchup that consists of two great defenses.
