According to oddsmakers at MyBookie.ag, Florida State is favored in today’s game, as the Seminoles are getting odds of -7 points against Houston. The over/under total for the game has been set at 55.5 points. These two meet today at Noon ET on ESPN. The game is being played from the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, GA.

Cook has been the workhorse for the Seminoles (10-2, 8-4 ATS) this season, as he has rushed for 1,658 yards and 18 touchdowns. He currently ranked sixth in the nation in rushing. The 6-0 sophomore back has run for over 1,000 yards in both seasons with FSU and he has 26 touchdowns in his two-year FSU career.

Today, Cook and FSU meet up with Houston (12-1, 8-5 ATS), which has a lot to prove in this game. The Cougars have a very strong run defense, as they rank 11th nationally, allowing just 116 yards per game on the ground. Despite that, oddsmakers expect big things from Cook, as he has been given an over/under of 167.5 rushing yards and 1.5 touchdowns for this bowl game. Cook played in all but one game this season and he had at least 168 yards in four of them. He also scored multiple touchdowns in seven games. The one constant for Cook is that he gets his chances. He has had at least 15 carries in all but one game this year. So, even if Houston succeeds in stopping him early, the Seminoles won’t go away from him.
