Wake Forest vs. Texas A&M Bowl Pick
Are the Texas A&M Aggies a good underdog play on Friday when they host the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in the Belk Bowl?
ODDSMAKERS LIKE: Wake Forest. According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Demon Deacons are 3-point favorites to beat the Aggies, who opened as 2.5-point underdogs. The total, meanwhile, sits at 65 points after hitting the board at 64.5.

THE PUBLIC LIKES: As of Friday morning, 66% of betting tickets are on the Demon Deacons and 67% of the money is also on Wake Forest.
INJURY REPORT: For A&M, Armani Watts (ribs), Jake Hubenak (shoulder), Zaycoven Henderson (disciplinary), Donovan Wilson (foot), Nick Harvey (knee) and Derrick Tucker (suspension) are all out for tonight’s game.
Meanwhile, Greg Dortch is out for the year after suffering an abdominal injury back in October. Cade Carney (lower body) is also probable and Traveon Redd (elbow) is out.
WHO WE LIKE: Texas A&M. Jimbo Fisher will be in attendance watching his new team today so motivation should be high for the Aggies. Both of these teams finished 7-5 overall and 4-4 in their respective conferences but one side has SEC talent and the other was an average ACC program. Granted, if Wake’s offense gets rolling that could be it for A&M. Still, I don’t trust the Demon Deacons’ defense. Wake ranks 107th in the nation in total defense, 104th in passing yards allowed, 93rd in rushing yards allowed, and 64th in points allowed, surrendering 26.3 per game. I’ll take the underdog against an opponent that doesn’t play defense.
