The Detroit Lions look to win consecutive games at home this Sunday when they host the Minnesota Vikings at 1PM ET on FOX.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Minnesota is favored on the road, as the Vikings are getting odds of -2.5 points against the Lions. The over/under total for the game has been set at 44.5 points. The Vikings own a 26-16 win over the Lions at home back on Sept. 20. The home team has won five of the last six in this series and is 4-2 against the spread in those six games. These two have hit the under in four straight meetings.

The Lions are coming off a 37-34 win over the Bears in OT last week for their first win of the season. Detroit is posting just 20 points per game despite having the fifth-best passing game in the NFL at 292.2 yards per game. The Lions’ defense is struggling, allowing 28.7 points and 386.8 yards per game, both of which rank near the bottom of the NFL. Matthew Stafford has thrown for 1,610 yards and 10 touchdowns this year, but also has nine interceptions. Calvin Johnson has 38 catches for 488 yards and two scores while the Detroit defense is led by Ezekiel Ansah, who has 16 tackles and five sacks.

Minnesota is 3-2 on the season, 4-1 against the spread and 5-0 with the under. The Vikings are coming off a 16-10 win over the Chiefs at home, but they have yet to win on the road this season. Minnesota is 29th in the NFL in scoring (19.2 ppg), 31st in total yards (305.6 ypg) and last in passing (179.6 ypg). However, the Minnesota defense is second in scoring (16.6 ppg allowed). Teddy Bridgewater has had a slow start to his sophomore season, throwing for just 1,023 yards and three touchdowns with four interceptions. Adrian Peterson has added 432 rushing yards with three scores. The Minnesota defense is led by Eric Kendricks, who has 29 tackles and two sacks.
