According to oddsmakers at GTBets, the Giants are the favorite to win this game, as they are getting odds of -2.5 points against the Falcons. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 51 points. The Giants have won five of their last six against the Falcons, going 4-2 against the spread in those six games. The two have hit the under in three straight meetings.

Atlanta opened the season with a 26-24 win over the Eagles at home on Monday night. The Falcons were a 3-point underdog coming into the game and they went under the 55-point total. Atlanta took a 20-3 lead entering halftime and then held on in the second half as their offense slowed down and their defense looked tired. Atlanta allowed 399 yards to the Eagles while racking up 395 yards of their own. Matt Ryan finished with 298 passing yards and two touchdowns while Julio Jones caught nine passes for 141 yards with two scores.

The Giants started the year with a rough 27-26 loss at Dallas on Sunday Night Football. The Giants did cover the 7-point spread and went over the 52-point total, but they had the game in their hands and let it slip away in the final moments. Leading by 3 in the closing minutes, the Giants poorly handled the clock with the ball and that opened the door for Dallas to win by a point with 7 seconds on the clock. The Giants had just 289 yards of offense in the win while allowing 436 yards to the Cowboys. Eli Manning had 193 passing yards to lead the offense while Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie had a fumble recovery for a score.
