Chargers vs. Bengals Odds
The Cincinnati Bengals and San Diego Chargers each look for a 2-0 start when the two meet this Sunday at 1PM ET on CBS.
According to oddsmakers at MyBookie, Cincinnati is the favorite at home in this game, as the Bengals are getting odds of -3.5 points against the Chargers. The over/under total for this contest has been set at 46.5 points. The Bengals have won three of their last four against the Chargers and they have covered in four of the last five in the series.
San Diego started the season with a 33-28 win over Detroit at home. The Chargers covered the 3.5-point spread in the win and hit the over of 45.5 points. San Diego fell behind 21-3, but then scored 30 straight points on the Lions to get the win. San Diego finished with 483 yards of offense and held Detroit to just 302 yards. Philip Rivers threw for 404 yards and two touchdowns to lead the offense while Keenan Allen caught 15 passes for 166 yards. The defensive effort was led by Eric Weddle, who had nine tackles.
The Bengals opened the season with a 33-13 win at Oakland last Sunday. Cincy easily covered the 3-poitn spread in the win while going over the 43-point total. The Bengals didn’t allow the Raiders to get going, holding them to just 246 total yards while racking up 396 yards on offense. Andy Dalton had 269 passing yards with two touchdowns while Jeremy Hill had 63 rushing yards and two scores. Tyler Eifert added nine catches for 104 yards with two touchdowns.
