NFL Week 4 Picks & Predictions
Instead of waiting until Sunday to place your wagers, here’s a couple of teams to consider for Week 4 in the NFL.
New York Jets vs. Miami Dolphins, 9:30AM ET (London)
The Dolphins’ offensive line is an issue and could be without left tackle Branden Albert for Sunday’s early morning tilt with the Jets. That’s not a good sign for quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who has struggled and who will face of the toughest defensive fronts in all of football this weekend. The Jets aren’t a powerhouse offensively but Ryan Fitzpatrick and Brandon Marshall have developed great chemistry and their defense will keep the Dolphins’ offense in check. The Jets are 23-9-1 against the spread in their last 33 games versus Miami and should pick up another cover on Sunday in London.
NFL WEEK 4 FREE PICK: NEW YORK JETS -1.5
Green Bay Packers at San Francisco 49ers, 4:25PM ET
Following their 43-18 loss to the Steelers in Week 2, the Niners followed up that performance by getting routed 47-7 in Arizona last Sunday. Colin Kaepernick was a hot mess in the loss to the Cardinals, completing just 9-of-19 passes for 67 yards and four interceptions. But for whatever reason, he has played well against Dom Capers and the Packers. He’s 2-0 against them in his career and has completed 27-of-39 attempts for 412 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. Green Bay looks unstoppable but its coming off a short week of practice and preparation after playing on Monday night and could be in store for a letdown this week in Santa Clara. The spread for this game has already been bet down from 9 to 8 so if you like the home dog, now is the time to jump.
NFL WEEK 4 FREE PICK: SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS +8
St. Louis Rams at Arizona Cardinals, 4:25PM ET
The Cardinals have scored 31, 48 and 47 points, respectively, in their first three games but they have yet to be tested by a decent defense. They’ll receive that test on Sunday when they host the Rams and St. Louis’ dynamic pass rush at 4:25PM ET. Aaron Donald and Robert Quinn have been unstoppable at times and while Arizona’s offensive line has held up well, this will be a huge test. On offense, the Rams can’t move the ball on the ground and they have limited playmakers in the passing game. This game should fall under the total, which is sitting at 42 points according to oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag.
NFL WEEK 4 FREE PICK: RAMS/CARDINALS UNDER 42
