Cardinals vs. Rams Prediction
NFC West rivals will wrap up their seasons today in L.A. when the Rams host the Cardinals at 4:25PM ET. Who covers?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Rams are 7-point home underdogs versus the Cardinals while the over/under currently sits at 39.5 points. The point spread hasn’t moved since Los Angeles opened as a 7-point favorite, but the total went from 41.5 down to 39.5.
ARIZONA KEY TRENDS: The Cardinals are 2-7 against the spread in their last nine games overall, are 2-6 against the number in their last eight conference games, and are 0-4 at the betting window in their last four games played in January. They’re also just 2-12 against the spread in their last 14 games after allowing more than 350 total yards in their previous contest and are 0-6 ATS in their last six games after allowing less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game.
LOS ANGELES KEY TRENDS: The Rams are a horrendous 1-9-1 at the betting window in their last 11 games overall, are 0-5-1 against the number in their last six home games, and are 0-6-1 against the spread in their last seven conference games. They’re also 20-46 at the betting window in their last 66 games after accumulating less than 250 total yards in their previous game.

OUR PREDICTION: The Rams beat the Cardinals earlier this season in Arizona but Bruce Arians and Co. return the favor today. Rookie quarterback Jared Goff hasn’t shown any improvement in his first season and Todd Gurley looks like he lost some of the burst that made him explosive a year ago. Los Angeles’ offensive line is also one of the worst in football and it looks like the defense checked out a month ago. The Cardinals haven’t been a model for consistency, but they should lean on David Johnson to roll past the Rams today and end the season on a high note.
