Will Brady get 2 TD passes?
Tom Brady has been in this position plenty of times. Will he have another great showing for the New England Patriots in today’s AFC Championship against the Denver Broncos?
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Patriots are favored on the road in this game, as they are getting odds of -3 points against the Broncos. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 44.5 points. These two meet today at 3:05PM ET on CBS.
The Patriots (13-4, 8-7-2 ATS) looked like a new team in last week’s divisional round win over the Chiefs. New England won 27-20 over KC, which had won 11 straight prior to the playoff game. The Patriots had scored just 30 points in its last two games combined prior to the playoff victory. With the return of Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola to the lineup, Brady went 28-of-42 passing for 302 yards with two touchdowns.
In Sunday’s AFC Championship, Brady has been given an over/under of 290.5 passing yards and 2 touchdowns passes against the Broncos (13-4, 8-8-1 ATS). Brady threw for 4,770 yards and 36 touchdowns this season with just 7 interceptions. When he went to Denver on Nov. 29, he threw for 280 yards and three touchdowns in a 30-24 OT loss to the Broncos. Brady has had at least 291 passing yards in 9 of 17 games this season and he has multiple TD passes in 14 games. However, he faces the league’s top passing defense in Denver, which gives up just 199.6 yards per game through the air. Denver is also getting healthier as Chris Harris and Von Miller are ready to play this Sunday.
