Can Ravens stop Tannehill?
It’s another week in the NFL, does that mean the Baltimore Ravens will allow a big day to another QB? This week Baltimore looks to stop Ryan Tannehill and the Miami Dolphins.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Dolphins are favored at home in this game, as they are getting odds of -3.5 points against the Ravens. The over/under total for the game has been set at 42.5 points. These two meet today at 1PM ET on CBS.
The Ravens (4-7, 2-7-2 ATS) have struggled against the pass all season, as they allow 258.6 yards per game, which ranks 24th of 32 NFL teams. Making matters worse, the Ravens have given up 21 touchdown passes to just four interceptions. From a fantasy football perspective, Baltimore only trails the Saints for most fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks.
Tannehill isn’t exactly the most secure player to trust, but he’s still thrown for 2,991 yards and 20 touchdowns this season and has shown improvement as the season has moved on. The Dolphins (4-7, 4-7 ATS) rank just 27th in total offense (335.9 ypg) and points (20.5 ppg), but Tannehill has four 300-yard games this season and coming off a 351-yard performance with three touchdowns last week against the Jets. For today’s game, he has been given an over/under of 260.5 yards passing. He has eclipsed that number seven times this season. The Ravens gave up 275 passing yards to the Browns last week
