Chargers at Patriots, 1:00PM ET

After waxing the Falcons on Sunday Night Football, the Patriots will remain home for another week to host the suddenly hot Chargers. Winners of three in a row, the Chargers are in the midst of saving their season. Despite their impressive showing defensively on Sunday night versus Atlanta, New England is only a 5.5-point favorite after opening as a 6.5-point favorite. The Chargers have failed to cover in five of their last seven games versus the Patriots.

Broncos at Chiefs, 8:30PM ET, Monday

This could have been a battle for first place in the AFC West but instead, both of these teams will enter Monday night’s matchup on losing skids. The Chiefs have dropped back-to-back games after opening the season at 5-0, while the Broncos have now lost three of their last four games following their 21-0 loss to the Chargers in Week 7. The road team is 6-1 against the spread in the last seven meetings between these two teams, while the underdog is 5-1 at the betting window in the last six meetings and the Broncos have covered in six of their last eight games in Kansas City.

Steelers at Lions, 8:30PM ET, Sunday

The Sunday Night Football matchup will pit the Steelers versus the struggling Lions. Pittsburgh is now 5-2 on the year after thumping Cincinnati in Week 7, while Detroit will enter play on Sunday night having lost three in a row to fall to 3-3. The Steelers opened as 3-point home favorites versus the Lions and that’s where the line currently sits. The over is 5-0 in the last five meetings between these two teams while the underdog has covered in four of the last five meetings. The Steelers figure to receive plenty of backing from public bettors now that they’re rolling again.
