Brandon Marshall 2017 Prop Odds
How many touchdowns and receiving yards will new Giant Brandon Marshall compile in 2017? Here’s a look at the odds.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the over/under for the number of receiving yards that Marshall will rack up in 2017 has been set at 1000. The number of touchdowns that he’ll catch in next year’s NFL season is sitting at 7.5.
Marshall signed a two-year, $12 million contract with the Giants back on March 8. He took a pay cut in annual average to stay in East Rutherford after playing with the Jets over the last few seasons. He was owned $.5 million from the Jets before he was released after the 2016 season.
Playing opposite Odell Beckham Jr. should provide Marshall with plenty of opportunities to exploit one-on-one coverage. Defenses won’t be able to key on Marshall with Beckham being bracketed in coverage on the other side. That said, Marshall may also see plenty of opponent’s top corner, even if its in one-on-one coverage.

One other question with Marshall is whether or not he’ll complain if he’s not receiving enough targets. He’s saying all the right things now, but we’ll see what happens in September and beyond. If Eli Manning has a bounce back campaign, there’s no reason Marshall can’t rack up over 1,000 receiving yards in the Giants’ pass-happy offense.
