Will the Jets pull off the small upset tonight when they host the Colts on Monday Night Football at 8:30PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Jets are 2-point home underdogs versus the Colts after the game opened as a pick’em earlier in the week. As for the total, the number hit the board at 49.5 and was bet down to 48.5 during the week.

They’re also 23-7 against the spread in their last 30 games versus an opponent that owns a losing record and have rebounded well off losses, going 25-9 against the number in their last 34 games in those situations. They are, however, just 4-9 at the window in their last 13 games following a double-digit loss at home.
JETS KEY TRENDS: The Jets have been a great buy in December, going 10-1-2 against the spread in their last 13 games played in this month. That said, they’re 4-10 against the number in their last 14 home games versus a team with a losing road record and are 5-14-2 against the spread in their last 21 games after accumulating more than 250 yards passing in their previous contest.

OUR PREDICTION: The Colts are just 1-5 against the spread in their last six games versus the Jets and 1-5-1 against the number in their last seven road games versus New York. The Jets are ninth in the league in rushing yards per game and should be able to establish their ground game tonight against a Colts defense that ranks 26th in rushing yards allowed (116.3 YPG). This is not a very good Indianapolis defense and while Ryan Fitzpatrick is prone to turnovers, he’s also capable of having big games when him and Brandon Marshall are in sync. I like the home dog here.
