The Chiefs also now have the best point differential (+108) of any team in the AFC outside of the Patriots (+166) and Bengals (+135). The Chiefs are red-hot but there’s actually plenty of value in the Browns. Since 2003, NFL teams have gone 42-21 against the spread (66.7%) when they are double-digit underdogs in back-to-back games. After failing to cover as a 14.5-point road dog last Sunday in Seattle, that trend applies to the Browns this week.
Not only are the Chiefs fighting for the division, they’re also battling the Steelers and Jets for one of the two wild card spots. With all the pressure on Kansas City and none on Cleveland (which will once again miss the playoffs this year), take the points with a Browns team with nothing to lose.
