Rudolph to stay hot?
Kyle Rudolph is getting hot at the right time for the Minnesota Vikings. Is that hot streak going to continue against the Seattle Seahawks today?
According to oddsmakers at RealBets, the Seahawks are favored in this game, as Seattle is getting odds of -2 points against the Vikings. The over/under total has been set at 42 points. These two meet today at 1PM ET on FOX.
Rudolph comes into today with an over/under of 3.5 receptions and 32.5 yards. Those numbers aren’t too big, especially when you consider that Rudolph is coming off his best back-to-back games of the season. On Nov. 22, Rudolph had six receptions for 106 yards and a touchdown against the Packers. He followed that up with seven catches for 53 yards last week at Atlanta.
This matchup is appealing for Rudolph and the Vikings (8-3, 9-2 ATS) because the Seahawks (6-5, 4-6-1 ATS) have really struggled against tight ends. Seattle has allowed 63 receptions for 771 yards and seven touchdowns to tight ends in 2015. The 771 yards is the fourth most of any team in the NFL. Last week, Seattle gave up 5 receptions and 45 yards to Heath Miller of the Steelers. Two weeks ago, they gave up 4 receptions and 65 yards to Vance McDonald of the 49ers.
