According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Jets are favored on the road today, as they are getting odds of -3 points against the Texans. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 40 points. The Jets have won and covered the spread in five of their last six meetings with the Texans. These two have also hit the under in five of six meetings.

The Texans average 20.4 points and 356.8 yards per game on offense while the defense is allowing 23.4 points and 340.3 yards per game. He will be looking for DeAndre Hopkins, who has 71 catches for 927 yards and seven scores this year. The Houston D is led, not surprisingly, by J.J. Watt, who has 42 tackles and 9.5 sacks this season.

The Jets are 5-4 on the season, 4-4-1 against the spread and 5-4 with the over. New York is coming off a 22-17 loss to the Bills at home for their third loss in four games. Brandon Marshall is the leading receiver with 57 catches for 753 yards and six scores while Muhammad Wilkerson is leading the defense with 38 tackles and seven sacks.
