PITTSBURGH STEELERS BETTING TRENDS

The Steelers are 6-2 against the spread in their last eight games played in the month of September and are 8-3-1 against the number in their last 12 games overall. They’ve also covered the spread in five of their last seven road games and are 6-1-1 ATS in their last eight games following a win of more than 14 points.

CHICAGO BEARS BETTNG TRENDS

The Bears are 4-0 against the spread in their last four games versus a team with a winning record and are 5-1 at the betting window in their last six home games. That said, they’re just 1-8 against the number in their last eight games in September.

OUR PREDICTION: The Bears were horrendous on the road last Sunday in Tampa, although that was mostly because of their offense. Despite being 0-2, Chicago has showed improvements on defense, mainly along its defensive line. If the Bears can bracket Antonio Brown like they doubled-up on Julio Jones in Week 1, they have a shot to keep things close. Plus, the Bears are allowing just 90.5 rushing yards per game through two weeks, which is key when facing a Steelers’ rushing attack that features Le’Veon Bell. Yes, the Bears are bad. But there’s still plenty of value in taking them as a home dog today.

NFL WEEK 3 PREDICTIONS: CHICAGO BEARS +7.5
