Bengals vs. Redskins Prediction
Will today’s Bengals and Redskins preseason matchup fall under the betting total at 4:30PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Redskins are 3-point home favorites versus the Bengals, while the over/under currently sits at 43.5 points. Neither the point spread nor the over/under budged off the original numbers.
CINCINNATI BENGALS: The Bengals dropped to 1-1 this preseason with a 30-12 loss to the Chiefs at home last week. Andy Dalton completed just seven of his 13 pass attempts for 98 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions. Backup A.J. McCarron, meanwhile, completed 8-of-15 pass attempts for 93 yards and was picked once. Jeremy Hill led the team in rushing with six carries for 28 yards.
WASHINGTON REDSKINS: The Redskins dropped to 0-2 in preseason play with a 21-17 loss to the Packers. Kirk Cousins completed 14 of his 23 pass attempts for 144 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions. Rookie running back Samaje Perine rushed eight times for 45 yards to lead Washington in rushing.

OUR PREDICTION: Neither of these teams’ offenses have looked good this preseason and I’m willing to bet neither will suddenly turn it on today. The backups haven’t looked sharp for either team either, so this could be an ugly one in D.C.
