Chargers vs. Rams Preseason Pick
Will the Chargers upset the Rams on Saturday night at 8:00PM ET when the two new L.A. teams clash?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Rams are 2.5-point home favorites versus the Chargers while the over/under currently sits at 41.5 points. While the point spread didn’t move off the original number, the total went from 42.5 down to 41.5.
LOS ANGELES CHARGERS: The Chargers lost both of their preseason games to date, losing 48-17 to the Seahawks and 13-7 to the Saints. In their loss to New Orleans, Philip Rivers didn’t play while Kellen Clemens completed 10-of-17 passes for 99 yards. He also rushed three times for 26 yards to lead the team on the ground.
LOS ANGELES RAMS: While the Chargers have yet to win this preseason, the Rams have yet to lose. They knocked off the Cowboys 13-10 two weeks ago and then beat the Raiders 24-21 last week. Jared Goff went 16-for-20 passing for 160 yards and a touchdown, while Todd Gurley turned his eight carries into 38 yards and a touchdown.

OUR PREDICTION: Sean McVay has done a nice job of simplifying things for Goff thus far and in turn, Goff has rewarded his coach with quality play. His confidence is up and seeing as how the Chargers have looked ugly in their back-to-back preseason games, I like the Rams to improve to 3-0 in exhibition play with a victory tonight.
