Bet Tonight’s Steelers vs. Redskins Matchup
On the injury front for Pittsburgh, receiver Markus Wheaton has been ruled out for tonight’s game due to a shoulder injury but defensive end Cameron Heyward (ankle) said he will “definitely” play. Sammie Coates will step in for Wheaton at the No. 2 spot opposite Antonio Brown, who will be shadowed by new Washington corner Josh Norman. DeAngelo Williams will also start in place of the suspended Le’Veon Bell at running back.
For the Redskins, receiver Josh Doctson is question due to an Achilles’ injury, although even if he suits up he’d be the fourth receiver on the depth chart. Matt Jones is also listed as questionable for tonight with a shoulder injury, but he’s expected to play after practicing on Wednesday without his yellow non-contract jersey.

OUR PICK: Even without Bell and Wheaton, the Steelers are dangerous on offense thanks to Williams, Brown and Ben Roethlisberger. Pittsburgh has also been a great bet in September, covering in four of its last five games in the month, while also going 7-3-2 ATS in its last 12 road games. The Redskins have been a poor cover on Monday nights, losing four of five at the betting window in their last five MNF contests.
