Cardinals vs. Falcons Prediction
Are the Cardinals a good underdog play on Sunday when they visit the Falcons at 1:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Falcons are now 5-point home favorites versus the Cardinals after opening as a 3-point favorite earlier in the week. CARDINALS KEY TRENDS: The Cardinals have really struggled against the spread of late. Arizona is winless at the betting window in its last four games and is 0-4 against the spread in its last four games played in November as well. The Cardinals have also failed to cover in six of their last seven games when facing a team with a winning record and is just 1-4 against the number in their last five road games.
FALCONS KEY TRENDS: The Falcons have also struggled at the betting window , failing to cover in eight of their last 10 home games. They’re also just 2-8 against the number in their last 10 games when coming off a loss and have failed to cover in five of their last six November games as well. They’re also 5-11 against the spread in their last 16 games versus NFC opponents and are 4-11 ATS in their last 15 games after accumulating more than 250 yards passing in their previous game.

OUR PREDICTION: The Eagles laid out the blueprint to beat the Falcons in Week 10. Philadelphia dominated time of possession by running the football effectively and essentially keeping Matt Ryan and Atlanta’s explosive offense on the sidelines for long stretches. The Cardinals can accomplish the same feat today with David Johnson, who should have a field day against an Atlanta run defense that ranks 17th in the league. The Cardinals’ passing attack has been out of sync since Week 1 but they still play good defense and run the ball, which is a good recipe for an underdog.
