NFL Week 15 Opening Line Report
Which teams are favored for Week 15 in the NFL? Check out where the point spreads opened for all of this week’s action in the NFL.
Chargers at Chiefs, 8:25 p.m. ET, Saturday
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Chiefs opened as 1-point home favorites versus the visiting Chargers. These two teams are now tied at 7-6 atop the AFC West and the winner will have sole possession of first place. The road team is 5-0 against the spread in the last five games between these two teams while the Chargers are 4-1 at the betting window in their last five games in Kansas City.
Packers at Panthers, 1:00 p.m. ET, Sunday
There is no line for this game as of this writing but that’s noteworthy in and of itself. Aaron Rodgers is eligible to return this week from a broken collarbone and he’s been practicing the past two weeks. It’ll be interesting to see where this line opens if Rodgers is active for Sunday. At 7-6, Green Bay is still in the hunt for a wild card spot after Brett Hundley rallied to team on Sunday in Cleveland. As for Carolina, the Panthers are 9-4 and remain locked into the fifth seed in the NFC.
Rams at Seahawks, 4:05 p.m. ET
This is a pivotal matchup in the NFC West because if the Seahawks beat the Rams, they would sweep the season series and jump into first place in the division. Despite losing to the Jaguars in Jacksonville on Sunday, Seattle opened as a 1-point favorite over L.A. for this week. The Rams are 2-8 against the spread in their last 10 games in Seattle while the home team is 7-2 against the number in the last nine meetings between these two teams.
Patriots at Steelers, 4:25 p.m. ET, Sunday
The top seed in the AFC is on the line when the Patriots visit the Steelers on Sunday afternoon. New England has yet to play Miami on Monday night but baring any setbacks, the Patriots and Steelers will be tied at 11-2 in the conference. The Pats opened as a 1-point road favorite for Sunday’s game but the line has already climbed to 2.5 after the Steelers rallied to beat the Ravens on Sunday night. The Patriots are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games in Pittsburgh and 12-4 against the number in their last 16 games versus the Steelers overall.
