Rams vs. Titans Total Pick
Will Sunday’s game in Nashville between the L.A. Rams and Tennessee Titans go over the betting total at 1:00 p.m. ET?
Game Info
Matchup: Rams (10-4) at Titans (8-6)
TV: FOX, 1:00 p.m. ET
Line: Rams -7
ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the over/under currently sits at 47.5 points after hitting the board at 49. The Titans, meanwhile, are now 7-point home underdogs to beat the Rams after L.A. opened as a 6.5-point road favorite.
PUBLIC BETTING: As of this writing, 69% of the betting tickets are on the Rams to cover the spread and 72% of the money is also on Los Angeles.
INJURY REPORT: For the Rams, Greg Zuerlein (back) is out for the year and cornerback Kayvon Webster (Achilles) is out for Sunday. Mark Barron, meanwhile, is questionable with a knee injury. On the other side, Derrick Morgan (knee) is probable but DaQuan Jones (biceps) is out for the year.
OUR PREDICTION: In the last four meetings between these two teams, the over is 4-1. The over is also 4-1 in the Titans’ last five home games, is 6-2-1 in their last nine games played in Week 16 and is 12-5-1 in their last 18 games coming off a loss. In Tennessee’s last 16 games in December, the over is also 11-5.
On the other side, the over is 6-1 in the Rams’ last seven road games, is 11-5 in their last 16 games overall, and is 9-3 in their last 12 games played on grass. The over is also 6-1 in Sean McVay’s squad after allowing less than 90 yards rushing in its previous game. Even though the Rams shut down the Seahawks last Sunday in Seattle, I feel a small letdown coming on right now and believe this game will be higher-scoring than most think.
