NFL Week 17 Injury Report
Which key games for Week 17 of the NFL Season are being impacted by injuries? Here’s the latest on this weekend’s Injury Report.
The key name on the Injury Report for today is DeMarco Murray for the Tennessee Titans. The veteran running back will have to sit out today’s game with the Jacksonville Jaguars at 4:25PM ET because of a knee injury. Oddsmakers are listing the Titans as a 2.5-poitn favorite at home today. They need a win to make the playoffs while the Jags are locked in as the third seed in the AFC. Murray has rushed for 659 yards and six touchdowns this season. His absence could lead to more from Derrick Henry, who has rushed for 693 yards this year.
The Pittsburgh Steelers can still win the top seed in the AFC, but they will have to attempt to do that today without Antonio Brown. Pittsburgh hosts winless Cleveland today at 1PM ET and oddsmakers have the Steelers as a 6.5-point favorite. They can’t do worse than the No. 2 seed and could claim home-field with a win and Patriots loss to the Jets. Brown is out for this game due to a calf injury he suffered a few weeks ago. Brown has 101 catches for 1,533 yards and nine touchdowns this season.
The Los Angeles Chargers still have playoff hopes for today as they can advance with a win and some help. Melvin Gordon of the Chargers is listed as questionable for this game due to an ankle injury. Los Angeles is being listed as a 7-point favorite at home for their 4:25PM ET kickoff with the Oakland Raiders. Gordon has been limited in practice all week with his injury. He has rushed for 1,012 yards and eight touchdowns this year while also catching 52 passes for 445 yards and four scores.
