Falcons vs. Saints Odds
Two NFC South rivals meet up tonight in Monday Night Football when the New Orleans Saints host the Atlanta Falcons at 8:30PM ET on ESPN.
According to the oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Saints are favored at home in this game, as they are getting odds of -2.5 points against the Falcons. The over/under total for the contest is listed at 53.5 points. The Saints won and covered the spread in both meetings with the Falcons last year and the two are 5-1-1 with the under in their last seven meetings.
The Falcons are 1-1 on the season and 1-1 against the spread following a 35-28 win over the Raiders on the road last week. Atlanta has hit the over in both games this year as they are scoring and allowing 29.5 points per game right now. The offense is putting up 460.5 yards per game while the defense is giving up 412.5 yards per contest. Matt Ryan is off to a strong start in 2016, throwing for 730 yards and five touchdowns. He is also completing 72 percent of his passes. Defensively, Atlanta needs to shore things up, but they are hoping things will improve with the addition of rookie Keanu Neal at safety. He is expected to make his 2016 debut tonight.

New Orleans is 0-2 on the season following a 16-13 loss at the Giants last week. The Saints are 1-1 against the spread while splitting the total in the two games. Through two games, the Saints are averaging 407.5 yards on offense while allowing 459 yards per game. New Orleans is really struggling on pass defense, allowing 343.5 yards per game. Drew Brees has thrown for 686 yards and five touchdowns, but the Saints are struggling to run the ball, putting up only 129 rushing yards in two games.
