NFL Week 4 Public Betting
Week 4 of the NFL season is in full swing later today. Here is a look at the Public Betting, and what teams are getting the most support.
Not surprisingly, the New England Patriots are getting the best support heading into today’s games. The Patriots are listed as a 9-point favorite at home for its 1PM ET game with the Carolina Panthers today. The Patriots are currently getting 79 percent of the wagers on this game, most of any team playing today. The Patriots are just 1-2 against the spread entering this week, as are the Panthers. Surprisingly, the Panthers have covered the spread in four straight meetings with New England, dating all the way back to 2004.

Another team getting a lot of public support is the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jacksonville finds itself as a road favorite today, as they face the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium. Oddsmakers currently list the Jags as a 3-point favorite for the 1PM ET clash. Jacksonville is getting 74 percent of the wagers for this game despite being a road favorite for just the second time since 2010. The Jaguars did cover in that other instance. The Jags are 2-1 on the season and 2-1 against the spread entering Week 4 while the Jets are 1-2 overall and 1-2 against the spread.
The game with the most debate looks to be Sunday Night Football, where the Seattle Seahawks host the Indianapolis Colts at 8:30PM ET. Oddsmakers currently have the Seahawks as a 13-point favorite at home against the Colts. Of the wagers, 51 percent are going on Seattle with 49 percent taking the underdog Colts. Seattle comes into this week 0-3 against the spread this season and 1-2 overall. The Colts are also 1-2 overall but 2-1 against the spread. Bettors are feeling somewhat uncertain about this Seattle team, which hasn’t found its stride in 2017. Now oddsmakers want you to give up two touchdowns.
