Ben Roethlisberger has thrown for 680 yards and nine touchdowns in the past two contests alone. In addition, Le’Veon Bell looks razor-sharp following an early suspension for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy. On the opposite end of the spectrum, Adam Gase’s team required overtime to defeat the Browns in Week 3. Enough said.
Speaking of tight affairs, Philadelphia’s trying to bounce back from a 24-23 loss to Detroit. Sixty-five percent of patrons endorse Carson Wentz & Co. to accomplish precisely that vs. Washington. The Eagles’ rookie quarterback boasts 1,007 yards and seven scores through his first four professional starts. Conversely, Kirk Cousins can’t quite locate the form that helped guide the Redskins to a playoff berth in 2015. With one of the Michigan State product’s preferred targets, Jordan Reed, on the bench because of concussion symptoms, expect things to spiral out of control in the nation’s capital.

The day’s trendy pick: Jacksonville, which fetches support from 58 percent of the crowd entering Soldier Field. Chicago appears destined for an utterly abysmal campaign, whereas the Jaguars feel buoyed by their recent London triumph over Indianapolis. Signal-caller Blake Bortles still needs a turnover-free tilt, and that’s probably bound to occur against John Fox’s bunch.
