According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Broncos are now 8-point home favorites over the Texans after opening as a 7.5-point favorite. As for the total, the number hit the board at 40.5 and that’s where it currently sits at the majority of online and Vegas sports books.

As for the Broncos, they’re 6-2-1 against the spread in their last nine games overall and are 4-1-1 against the number in their last six home games. They’re also 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight games when playing an opponent with a winning record but they too have struggled to cover when playing on Monday night, going 1-6-1 at the betting window in their last eight MNF appearances.

OUR PREDICTION: While the Broncos have struggled offensively over the last two weeks, their defense remains stout despite spending too much time on the field. Brock Osweiler has led the Texans to a winning record at this point but their record has been a product of their easy schedule. Osweiler has truly struggled, completing just 59.0 percent of his passes for 6.18 yards per attempt. Denver’s defense should eat him alive and set the offense up with plenty of scoring chances in order to cover the spread.
