NFL Week 9 Point Spread Betting Odds & Over/Under Totals 10/31/16

NFL Week 9 Betting Odds

With Week 8 nearly in the books, here’s a look at some of the most interesting lines for Week 9 in the NFL.

Cowboys at Browns, 1:00PM ET, Sunday

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Cowboys have opened as a 7-point favorite versus the Browns for Sunday’s game in Cleveland. With its 29-23 overtime win over the Eagles on Sunday night, the Cowboys have been one of the most profitable teams in the NFL this season for bettors. They have covered six consecutive games since losing 20-19 to the Giants in Week 1 as a 1-point home favorite. The Browns, meanwhile, are still in search of their first win after blowing several leads in a 31-28 defeat versus the Jets in Week 8.

Broncos at Raiders, 8:30PM ET, Sunday

The Sunday Night Football matchup this week is highly intriguing, as the Broncos travel to Oakland to take on the Raiders for first place in the AFC West. Both teams are 6-2 on the year after Denver beat San Diego on Sunday and Oakland rallied to beat Tampa Bay in overtime. Sunday night’s matchup is so tight that oddsmakers opened the game as a pick’em and that’s where it currently sits as of this writing. The total, meanwhile, is listed at 44.5.

Colts vs. Packers, 4:25PM ET, Sunday

Both of these teams will be looking to get back on the right track after losing in Week 8. Andrew Luck and the Colts fell 30-14 as a 3-point home underdog to the Chiefs on Sunday while the Packers lost 33-32 in the closing seconds to the Falcons in Atlanta. The good news for Green Bay, however, is that Aaron Rodgers looked sharp while throwing four touchdown passes and no interceptions versus Atlanta. He and the Pack opened as 6.5-point home favorites for Sunday versus the Colts, but the line has already been bet up to 7.

Falcons at Bucs, 8:25PM ET, Thursday

The Thursday night matchup is somewhat intriguing as well. Every team in the NFC South won in Week 8 expect for the Bucs, who couldn’t hold onto several leads in an overtime defeat versus the Raiders in Tampa. In fact, the Bucs are now 0-3 at home this year compared to 3-1 on the road, and will have to deal with a ticked off Atlanta team seeking revenge on a short week. The Falcons are 5-3 on the year, with losses to the Seahawks and Chargers, as well as a Week 1 defeat versus the Bucs. If the Falcons can win in Tampa on Thursday night (where they are currently a 3-point favorite), then they’ll put more pressure on the Bucs, Panthers and Saints to begin the second half of the 2016 season.
